All my years in weddings and here's what I can tell you - trends will go out of style, and it's important to me that your images never do. After photographing hundreds of sweet people over the past 8 years, I've found that one of my favorite aspects of this business is connecting with the incredible people in front of my camera. That’s why this process begins with a conversation. I want to hear all the details & your vision for your session!
We’ll get to know one another, talk about the details of your shoot, answer any questions you might have about working with me and make sure we are an amazing fit for each other!
LET'S CONNECT
Once your date is reserved, we'll connect to start chatting about possible locations for your session. I typically recommend choosing an area where we can venture around to a handful of different spots! If you're not sure about where you would like to take your photos but you have a general idea of the look you would like, just let us know because we would be happy to recommend a few locations based on your aesthetic!
LOCATION
On the day of your session, we'll connect to make sure the weather still looks like it's going to corporate. We'll exchange numbers and finalize our meeting location. Please be prompt and on time as we are working around the sun to get the best light and glow in you photos!
The SEssion
All images from our sessions are typically delivered within four weeks of the shoot date via an online gallery. This gallery will allow you to share your favorites with family, order prints and even download images to share on social media. Oh, but you'll for sure be seeing some sneak peeks before your full gallery is done, no worries there!
Your gallery will remain active for one year.

I love offering my clients a variety of ways to turn their images into keepsakes. Wall-mounted canvases to decorate your home, professional prints and more.
I know Mom & Grandma want these photos in their hands and not just on Facebook, so I love making this process as simple and user-friendly as possible.

The clean background gives so much margin for YOU + your love to be the main focus, and is such a unique way to document your story. Alright ladies - pro tip! Having your hair and makeup done for photos takes out the stress of you getting yourself ready for your session. PLUS it can make you feel more confident, which I am all about! Here are a few local artist that I love and recommend for hair and makeup! Plan to get your hair and makeup done 2-4 hours before your session.

Here are a few tips to help you as you plan your session!
- Pick outfits that you love and feel comfortable AND confident in!
- Avoid neon colors, patterns on shirts smaller than a dime, and words.
- Typically neutrals & warm colors flatter the entire family!
- Incorporate texture (sweaters, corduroy, linen, etc.) to bring visual interest to your images!
WHAT TO WEAR

WARDROBE STYLING
The sooner the better! My schedule tends to fill up pretty quickly and I only take on a limited number of sessions outside of weddings - especially during the summer and fall. So the sooner you reach out, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
To reserve your date, I'll need a contract as well as a retainer.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
Unless you've modeled professionally, you may initially feel a bit awkward in front of the camera. That's so normal!! Though it may take a bit of warming up, as the session goes on and I promise to coach you through everything. My approach to every session is to document you in a way that makes you feel beautiful but also yourself - instead of reverting to stiff poses. Enjoy yourself! I promise you will love the resulting images.

Listen, I feel you! No one wants photos in the rain. If it looks like it's going to rain, snow, hail or some other weather catastrophe, we'll be in touch via email or phone to reschedule.
No worries, friend!
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Within a four weeks of your session, you'll receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to download high resolution images.
The gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes incredibly easy. That means Mom & Grandma can order prints with a click of a button! No worrying about tricky things like color correction, DPI and image format.
